As of Fall 2020, the login to authenticate for NYSID library resources is your NYSID email and password (not your student ID #). If your password has expired you will need to reset it or put in a help desk ticket with IT to help you do so.
Please note: When you cannot access a library resource using your NYSID email and password, first check to see if the problem is limited to one resource or more. The most frequent issue with users not being able to access our resources is due to their NYSID email password being EXPIRED. Users receive an email from portal@nysid.edu every 90 days to update their email password. Please check your email for this notification in case you may have missed it. For access issues you feel are not related to your email password, please email reference@nysid.libanswers.com and a librarian will assist you (you may also use the “Email a Librarian” link on the library homepage under our Hours).
